EconomyStory on Twitter

Here are a few ways to use Twitter in connection with this project:

1. STAY INFORMED
A great way to stay informed about public media's economic coverage is to follow @EconomyStory on Twitter.

2. PROMOTE YOURSELF
If you tweet about your own economic coverage, please use the #EconomyStory hashtag to help bring it to our attention. We'll try to re-tweet as much as possible!
(Note: the 12 EconomyStory partners funded by CPB collectively reach over 650,000 followers on Twitter and Facebook. By bringing your content to our attention, you're helping us tap into that audience on your behalf.)

3. SPREAD THE WORD

If you notice an interesting tweet with the #EconomyStory tag, consider re-tweeting it.

Minnesota Public Radio created a dedicated Twitter account, @MinnEcon, to promote "news and talk about Minnesota's economy."
They are using both #EconomyStory and its own local hashtag, #mneconomy, to tag their tweets.

Here is a screenshot of a local exchange between @MinnEcon and @EconomyStory:

By using the #EconomyStory hashtag, MPR brought its tweet to our attention, and we were able to retweet its story to our followers.
